According to the search engine Google, the most-searched celebrity haircuts for 2011 has been Emma Watson and Justin Bieber's pixie cuts. Experts have even credited Emma Watson for bringing the short hair back into fashion. Other women who have become fashion icons for pixie cuts are Michelle Williams, Carey Mulligan and Halle Berry. Despite their very short hair, they all look very feminine and sexy and has certainly inspired women to request having their hair cropped like this.

Another haircut that I totally love is the bob haircut which Brooklyn Decker first sported in March 2011. Since then she has shown in so many ways how versatile the bob haircut is by coming out in different hairstyles.

One Direction is a British-Irish boy band, consisting of members Niall Horan, Zayn Malik, Liam Payne, Harry Styles and Louis Tomlinson. They finished third on the seventh series of The X Factor. They all auditioned solo for the boy’s category but did not make it but the five were put on a band after Nicole Scherzinger, of PussyCat Dolls, suggested they audition for the group. They did audition as One Direction but placed only third after Rebecca Ferguson and winner Matt Cardle. Their song “Forever Young” which was supposed to have been released had they won was leaked onto the internet. And the rest is history as they say.

One Direction members might appear like they are almost always in suits but more often they can be seen in plain t-shirts with a coat on, blue jeans and sneakers. The casual look that makes them look like regular teens that they are.

Niall Horan (born 13 September 1993) is from Mullingar, County Westmeath, Ireland. He is a pupil at Coláiste Mhuire, Mullingar, a boys' CBS secondary school. His audition piece So Sick though he wasn't asked to finish and Cheryl Cole said no to him but they found him likable and adorable so he got in. 

Zayn Malik (born 12 January 1993) is from West Lane Baildon, Bradford, UK. He is a pupil at Tong High School, a state comprehensive school.He is of Pakistani descent. His audition was initially not broadcast, but was shown after the series ended on companion show The Xtra Factor. Malik was noted for becoming nervous in bootcamp, and when he was told he had to dance, he decided to remain backstage, effectively running the risk of elimination. Cowell noticed Malik missing from the dance routine and went backstage and convinced him to return.

Liam Payne (born 29 August 1993), from Wolverhampton, West Midlands, UK, is a music technology student at City of Wolverhampton College, a Further Education College. Payne had auditioned in 2008 to The X Factor's fifth series when he was 14 and reached judges' houses, but Cowell thought he was not ready for the competition and asked him to come back in two years. This time Payne auditioned singing "Cry Me a River" and received a standing ovation from the audience and Simon Cowell. Of the five, I feel that he has the best vocals, just my 2 cents so fans please don’t get mad at me and his audition really showed how good he was....well, who can dispute that when Simon Cowell gave him a standing ovation. Quite a salute!

Harry Styles (born 1 February 1994) is from Holmes Chapel, Cheshire, UK and is a pupil at Holmes Chapel Comprehensive School, a state comprehensive school. Styles was the lead singer for the band White Eskimo with band members lead guitarist Haydn Morris, bass guitarist Nick Clough and drummer Will Sweeny. Styles auditioned with "Isn't She Lovely" and received positive comments from two of the three judges present at his audition, with Louis Walsh having doubts on whether he was ready to progress in the competition. At bootcamp, he sang "Stop Crying Your Heart Out" before being rejected and put into One Direction. I think he I the naughtiest of all, what with all the rumors of him with older women and has emerged as the heartthrob immediately.

Louis Tomlinson (born 24 December 1991) is from Doncaster, South Yorkshire, UK. He was a sixth form student at Hall Cross School, a state comprehensive school and previously a pupil at The Hayfield School, a state comprehensive school, before that.

Then fresh from their 2011 AMA performance, they were next seen when Selena was invited as Taylor closed her "Speak Now World Tour" . Selena joined the country singer earlier in the night, where the two sang a duet version of Gomez's hit tune "Who Says." They both looked so lovely and all glam up, a far cry from how they look in their everyday plain t-shirts and jeans casual attire.

At the Breaking Dawn Premiere, the stars of Twilight delighted their fans when they walked all glammed up in the red carpet. I guess this would mean fans would be looking at online clothing stores for these stuffs again.

A few days ago, I posted about Ashley Greene looking oh-so-lovely in white during a concert tour in preparation for the premiere of Breaking Dawn. On the day itself, she came out looking really gorgeous in a red strapless Donna Karan gown with lace and stripe details.

The 21-year-old actress particularly wowed the crowd, in a daring blue sequined slit to the thigh gown by J Mendel which showed off  plenty of her slimline figure.

I love Ashley Greene au nauterelle, sans make-up and in simple t-shirts though hers are definitely not cheap tee shirts as she is wearing a Junk Food t-shirt and 12 Angels t-shirt. But very recently she came out in a pretty all-white dress.

Not wearing white after Labor Day has become like a dictum, without even knowing where that idea originated, that has been followed by so many people. But more often than not there are fashion icons who love to break this rule and get away with it.

This time Ashley Greene does it with much aplomb. According to the report from Celebuzz, Ashley delighted her fans when she appeared at the Breaking Dawn Part 1 concert tour in Chicago last Tuesday wearing a winter white shift accessorized perfectly with black onyx earrings and a Melinda Maria-designed cuff bracelet.

It was a combination of simple innocence and yet a little bit sexy with her hair in sleek ponytail and her lips bright red lipstick that completed the look. Simply beautiful.

Ashley, together with the cast and crew of Twilight, has been doing major promotional work for the upcoming Breaking Dawn which hits theaters November 18. The five-city concert tour ends tomorrow in Salt Lake City. The cast members with her were Kellan Lutz, Nikki Reed, Peter Facinelli, Elizabeth Reaser and Jackson Rathbone as well as some of the bands who have appeared in the soundtrack.

The two main stars, Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart, have been doing talk shows and late night circuit to promote the release. Oh yes, Taylor Lautner joins them in most of the events.

He is the adorable son of Abercrombie & Fitch model-turned-Lagerfeld legend Brad Kroenig and was first seen when he walked with his dad in the Chanel S/S ’11 show. Matching from head-to-toe in a Canadian tuxedo and white Chanel jacket, this cute toddler’s runway debut with his dad was just the start of his modeling career. Since then he has graced the pages of German Vogue, posed as the face of Fendi alongside his dapper dad, Anja Rubik and Baptiste Giabiconi.   

Brad, who has been the face of campaigns for DKNY, Gap, H&M and Roberto Cavalli, is even the subject of Metamorphoses of an American, a book chronicling the Florida native's modeling career by Karl Lagerfeld. With that kind of resume, you can expect Hudson to grow up in the modeling world; he even has fashion royalty Karl Lagerfeld for uncle.
